We are seeking several qualified individuals to fill the
position of Ground
Hand/Laborer for the telecommunications field. Job responsibilities include:
- Organize materials, tools and equipment.
- Stock truck with materials to ensure adequate supply for daily work
assignments.
- Performing routine construction related activities such as pulling a
rope, climbing ladders, using common hand tools, manual digging with a
shovel, cable handling, and general clean up.
- Set up traffic control signs and cones.
- Flag and/or direct traffic as needed.
- Follow Company safety policies.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as becomes
evident.
Must have a HS diploma or equivalent.
Must be
able to lift 80 lbs on occasion

- Operate all related aerial and underground equipment required to
perform work.
- Perform pole transfers, pedestal and lock box installation.
- Frame poles, install strand and lash up aerial cable/fiber.
- Climb wood utility poles using climbers.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as becomes
evident.
- Follow Company safety policies.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Must have a HS diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift 80 lbs on occasion.
CATV Coax and/or Fiber Experience a plus.

Minimum requirements for all posted positions:
- Be self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
- Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with a wide
variety of personalities
- Be at least 19 years old
- Have a valid driver's license with 2 years driving experience and a clear
driving record
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
- Must be willing to travel

Construction and Installation work is typically
performed within a five to six state area in the northeast region of the United
States. Typical hours are Mon. – Thurs. between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However
hours will vary by project and are influenced by weather; overtime/weekends as
needed. Frequent overnight travel is required.
